Terms of Service
Last updated 13 August 2026
These terms cover using MoveNSeek, whether you are playing a game at an event or running one. MoveNSeek is operated by PottersCode LLC. By using it, you agree to what follows.
What MoveNSeek is
MoveNSeek is a web app that event organizers use to run games, publish a schedule, and send announcements at their events. It runs in your phone's browser — there is nothing to install.
There are two kinds of user, and the terms differ for each: attendees, who play at an event, and organizers, who set an event up and run it.
Prizes are the organizer's responsibility
Prizes at an event are provided, funded, and awarded by that event's organizer. MoveNSeek records who completed what and what they are owed; it does not supply prizes, guarantee that any prize exists or remains in stock, or decide who wins.
If a prize is not honoured, that is a matter between you and the organizer. Please raise it with them directly.
The emergency button is not an emergency service
In an emergency, call 911. Do not rely on MoveNSeek to summon help.
Some events include a button that alerts event staff. It sends a message to that event's organizers through the app. It depends on a working internet connection, on staff having the admin screen open, and on staff being able to respond. We do not guarantee that an alert is delivered, seen, or acted on, and it is not a substitute for emergency services.
Do not raise false alerts. Doing so may get your access to the event removed.
Fair play
When playing, you agree not to:
- Share, copy, photograph or redistribute event QR codes so others can complete a game without visiting the location.
- Register more than one account in order to enter a prize draw or spin more than once.
- Attempt to submit scans or completions by any means other than scanning the codes at the event.
- Interfere with the app, probe it for weaknesses, or attempt to access another attendee's or organizer's data.
Scans are validated on our servers. Completions obtained by any of the above may be reversed, and access may be removed, at the organizer's or our discretion.
If you run an event
As an organizer you are responsible for:
- The accuracy of what your sign-in consent notice tells attendees, and only using attendee data in the way that notice describes.
- Handling any attendee contact details you receive lawfully, including honouring deletion and unsubscribe requests.
- The content you publish through the app — schedule, announcements, sponsor names and logos — and having the right to use it.
- Your prizes, your prize rules, and any promotion or raffle laws that apply to them where your event takes place.
- Keeping your organizer link and admin access to people who should have it.
Availability
MoveNSeek is provided on a best-effort basis, without warranty of any kind. It is used outdoors, at busy events, on crowded mobile networks — scans are queued on your phone and synced when signal returns, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and we do not guarantee the app will be available or error-free at any particular moment.
Ownership
The MoveNSeek platform, its name, and its software are owned by PottersCode LLC. Using it does not transfer any ownership to you. Content an organizer uploads — their event details, sponsor logos, and schedule — remains theirs.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PottersCode LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of MoveNSeek, including lost prizes, missed announcements, or events not running as planned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
